Cricket South South CEO Gerald Majola is facing the music after he acepted irregular remuneration and emoluments from the Indian Premier League after staging their games in South Africa in 2009. Majola who is paid a salary of R155 000 per month which is R2,015 000 per year with a travelling coast of R1m per year. In which lead to many debats as it appears that he paid for his family vacations with the money without paying it back to his account.

Last year the Minister of South African Sports Fikile Mbalula requested that an inquary be opened against Majola which was headed by the retired judge Chris Nicholson. In his inquary he found Majola guilty for all his accusations and stated that the board must suspend Majola for 180 days with full payments pending on the findings in his disciplinary hearing.
As long they keep on defending each other no changes in the board will be seen...bribery and stuff start from the top management which will make Cricket South Africa an individual asset.
ReplyDeletepleading not guilty will not work, this is a new era in every sports in South Africa to be aware of money used by management on making state money their pocket money. Majola must go without any salary and he must pay back this money instead of going forward Majola move us back
ReplyDeleteall investigation proceedings were done and it was found that money was misused therefor it was right for the CEO to be replaced
ReplyDeleteexactly the must be a stand against corruption in our sports as long as the management does not do well our national teams will not go anywhere
